Takayuki MIYASHITA, Ambassador of Japan to Burundi inaugurates the buildings constructed by the Japanese people

Saturday 7 July 2018, by Jean De Dieu

These buildings consist of 6 classrooms, teacher rooms and 2 toilets.

During the inauguration ceremonies of these buildings, the ambassador of Japan to Burundi, H.E. Mr. Miyashita TAKAYUKI said that the projects that his country puts forward in its cooperation with other countries concern education. This is because this sector is the key to economic and social restoration.

Miyashita TAKAYUKI asked the students and neighbors of the Mutaho school, to maintain these buildings well in the interest of their commune in particular and the whole country in general. The governor of Gitega Venant Province MANIRAMBONA urged the students to do good maintenance of this school because it will allow them to obtain better results.

The governor of the Province of Gitega asked the people who had responded to these ceremonies, to do family planning to allow the country to accommodate all school-age children in school.

The representative of the Association RECORD who constructed these buildings of this fundamental school Evariste MANIRABONA, said that they implemented this project of Japan because education is an indispensable necessity for the population.

The Mutaho Fundamental School has a student enrollment of more than 1,700 students, and the buildings Japan built cost more than $ 87 ($ 87).
